The Schattner Foundation is a private charitable foundation established in 1992 by Dr. Robert I. Schattner, who leveraged his successful career to fund the foundation.
Dr. Schattner invented Chloraseptic, the well-known product used to relieve minor sore throat and mouth pain, as well as another line of products known as Sporicidin.
Since its founding, the foundation has donated more than $50 million dollars to a variety of causes—positively impacting the lives of thousands of people both in the United States and abroad. Today, the responsibility and honor of carrying on the mission of the foundation rests in the hands of our Board members.
